Your tour begins as you travel by surface from Delhi to Shimla, a popular hill station in the state of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival at Shimla, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to indulge in independent activities and explore the scenic beauty of Shimla. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will embark on a local sightseeing tour of Shimla, also known as the “Queen of Hills” for its grandeur amidst the Himalayas. You will visit Kufri, one of India’s best holiday paradises, nestled at an altitude of 2,622 meters. Kufri is known for its scenic beauty and thrilling sports activities. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll at the famous shopping place of Shimla town, “The Mall & The Ridge”, which offers stunning views of the mountain ranges. You can also visit Shimla’s landmarks, the neo-gothic Christ Church and the neo-Tudor library building. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Manali, another popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Enroute, you will pass by Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Sutlej River, Beas Sutlej Link Project, and the scenic Kullu Valley. You will also visit a Shawl Factory at Kullu. On arrival at Manali in the evening, you will check into your hotel and spend the night there.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a local sightseeing tour of Manali. You will visit the famous Hadimba Temple, built in 1553 with a beautifully crafted four-tiered pagoda roof. You will also visit the Club House, which offers comprehensive facilities including a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar, and a restaurant. The Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and Vashist, known for its hot springs, are also part of the tour. You can explore the scenic surroundings at your own pace. In the evening, you will return to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning, you will proceed for a full-day tour of Rohtang Pass, known for its majestic mountains and glaciers. You can enjoy the snowy heaven and take a thrilling sledge ride down the slopes or try your luck by climbing the little snow hills. On the way back to Manali, you will halt at the Rahalla Falls and also visit Marhi, Ralha Falls, and Nehru Kund. The mesmerizing views and natural beauty of Rohtang Pass will be a delight for your senses. Please note that Rohtang Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year due to heavy snowfall. Overnight stay in Manali.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive towards Dharamshala, known for its panoramic Dhauladhar ranges. Dharamshala is also the residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and is famous for its Tibetan culture. On arrival, you will check into your resort and then explore the town, visiting the Tibetan Monastery, St. John’s Church in the Wilderness, and Mcleodganj, also known as “Little Tibet”. It is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, after breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Dalhousie, which is located at an altitude of 2039 meters on the outer slopes of the Dhaula Dhar range. Dalhousie is known for its natural beauty and serene surroundings. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the local market. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Dalhousie.
Start your day with a drive to Khajjiar, a picturesque saucer-shaped plateau surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Its beauty is further enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and a 9-hole golf course. There are other interesting places to visit in Khajjiar as well. Return to your hotel in Dalhousie in the evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Check out from your hotel in Dalhousie and proceed to Amritsar. On arrival, visit the iconic Wagah Border, also known as Baga Border, known for its ceremonial flag lowering ceremony. In the evening, you are free to visit the famous Golden Temple, a spiritual and cultural landmark of Amritsar. Spend the night at your hotel in Amritsar.
Check out from your hotel in Amritsar and proceed to Delhi Railway Station to catch a train for your onward journey or to Delhi Airport for your departure flight.
