  • Day 1: Sarahan – Exploring the Bhimakali Temple

    Your adventure begins as you reach Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, and then drive to Sarahan, a small village known for its ancient Bhimakali Temple. Dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhimakali, this temple is a fine example of Himachali architecture and is steeped in mythological significance. Marvel at the intricate carvings, vibrant paintings, and exquisite woodwork that adorn the temple, and soak in the spiritual vibes of this sacred place.

  • Day 2: Sangla and Chitkul – Baspa Valley’s Beauty

    On day 2, you will drive for about 5 hours to reach Sangla, also known as the Baspa Valley, which is famed for its breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks, apple orchards, and gushing rivers. Immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of this valley as you explore its quaint villages, interact with the friendly locals, and savor the traditional cuisine. Later, visit Chitkul, the last village of the Baspa Valley, known for its stunning views of the Himalayas and its old-world charm. Spend the night in a campsite in Chitkul and take a leisurely walk to Batseri, a nearby village, for some relaxation.

  • Day 3: Nako – Tranquil Lake and Campsite

    On day 3, drive to Nako, a picturesque village located by the tranquil Nako Lake. This high-altitude lake is renowned for its pristine beauty and peaceful surroundings. Spend some time by the lakeside, soak in the serenity, and relax in your campsite for the night, enjoying the surreal views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

  • Day 4: Spiti Valley – A Journey into the Mystic Land

    On day 4, bid adieu to Nako and venture into the mystical land of Spiti Valley. Drive through Sumdo and reach Gyu village, known for its ancient mummy monk perched atop a hill. Explore the village, interact with the locals, and soak in the unique cultural vibe of Spiti. Next, visit Tabo, often referred to as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas,” famous for its ancient monasteries and exquisite murals. Enjoy a delicious lunch before proceeding to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Spiti as you explore the monasteries, villages, and landscapes of Kee, Kibber, Langza, Komic, and Kaza bazaar. Spend the night in Kaza and experience the tranquility of Spiti under a star-studded sky.

  • Day 5: Village Walking – Exploring the Local Life

    Day 5 is all about immersing yourself in the local culture and lifestyle of Spiti. Embark on a village walking tour and witness the unique way of life of the people living in these remote Himalayan villages. Explore the ancient monasteries, interact with the friendly locals, and soak in the stunning landscapes that surround these quaint hamlets. Visit Kee, Kibber, Langza and Komic and also stroll through Kaza bazaar.

  • Day 6: Kunzom Pass

    On Day 6 of your trip, you will start by crossing the Kunzom Pass, which connects the Spiti Valley with Lahaul Valley. Kunzom Pass is a high mountain pass located at an elevation of 4,551 meters (14,931 feet) above sea level and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape. You will be driven from Spiti Valley to Jispa after crossing the pass. The drive will be filled with stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks, rugged valleys, and pristine lakes. By evening, you will reach the campsite at Gemur or Jispa, where you will stay overnight.

  • Day 7: Kolong Village and Khangsar Khar

    On Day 7, you will visit Kolong village, where you can engage in a little hike and witness the lifestyle of the local people. Kolong village is known for its unique culture and traditional houses made of stone and wood. You can interact with the locals, learn about their customs, and experience their way of life. After that, you will head to Khangsar Khar, a serene place known for its tranquility and peaceful vibes. You can spend some time here, soaking in the serenity of the place. Later, you will visit the Gemur monastery, which is a significant Buddhist monastery in the region. Afterward, you will return to the campsite for your overnight stay.

  • Day 8: Drive to Manali via Rohtang Pass

    On Day 8, you will start your journey to Manali from Jispa. You will cross the famous Rohtang Pass en route, which is located at an altitude of 3,978 meters (13,051 feet) above sea level. Rohtang Pass is known for its stunning views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and valleys. The drive will take approximately 6 hours, and you will reach Manali, a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh, by evening. Upon arrival, you will set up your campsite in Manali, where you will stay overnight.

  • Day 9: Explore Manali

    On the last day of your trip, you will have the opportunity to explore Manali. You can start by strolling around the famous Mall Road, which is a bustling street lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can indulge in some local shopping, try out local cuisine, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Manali. Alternatively, you can visit the Hadimba Temple, which is a famous temple dedicated to the local deity Hidimba. The temple is known for its unique architecture and peaceful surroundings. You can also visit the Vashisht hot sulphur water springs, which are believed to have medicinal properties and are popular for their therapeutic baths. After exploring Manali, you can conclude your trip and depart for your onward journey.
