The Triund Trekking and Camping experience offer a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and tranquility in the heart of the Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh. The trek to Triund, starting from McLeod Ganj near Dharamshala, is a relatively easy one, making it ideal for beginners and experienced trekkers alike. As you ascend through lush rhododendron and oak forests, the trail offers stunning views of the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar Range and the Kangra Valley below. Upon reaching Triund, at an altitude of about 2,850 meters, you are greeted with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the mighty peaks of Indrahar Pass. Set up your camp amidst the scenic beauty of Triund and spend the evening around a bonfire, under a blanket of stars. The next morning, wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas before starting your descent back to McLeod Ganj. Itinerary

Day 1: Mcleodganj to Triund
Your adventure begins as you report at the Base Camp Mcleodganj Bus Stand before 8:00 AM. From here, you will start your trek to Triund, a beautiful ridge situated amidst the serene forests of deodar, oak, and rhododendron. As you make your way through the picturesque trails, you will have the option to opt for an additional lunch to keep your energy levels up. The trek to Triund offers breathtaking views of the Kangra valley on one side and the majestic Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. Once you reach Triund, check into the comfortable camps located approximately 2 kms below Triund. In case of bad weather or government restrictions, you will trek back to Dharamkot to reach the campsite. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the campsite and spend the night in your cozy camps, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Day 2: Triund to Mcleodganj and Departure
Wake up to a mesmerizing sunrise at Triund and savor a hearty breakfast. After checking out from the camps, start your trek back to the base camp located at Mcleodganj. As you descend the trails, take in the scenic vistas and cherish the memories of your trek to Triund. Once you reach Mcleodganj, bid farewell to the serene mountains and depart with cherished memories of your adventure.
